NORWAY ’16

We have visited Norway during our easter vacation period and experienced a wide spread of different landscape, weather and activities. Here the photographic review of this outstanding trip in two sets: Water & Sky We had a small cottage on a little pier of a farm in the Arnafjord which is a side arm of the Sognefjord. Some of the photos have been take from our balkony, others during trips arouns that area. Land & Snow Even when the country is in a kind of hibernation during this time of the year still, there are many little interesting spots to observe. Impressive is the snowy landscape even already on 800m …

CLOTH FACTORY

During our ABANDONED PLACES TOUR ’15 in April this year, I have captured so many photos, that I’m still working on them. Today I’m releasing 2 more sets from an abandoned cloth factory in the area of Alsace / France. Most of the facitities have been demolished already. But as usual, after a sportive role through an open window, we found some nice litte piceworth to take photos. Set 1: color Set2: black&white

Feinpape

Finally, I have managed to visit a new abandoned place – a little pactory which made fine carton many years ago. The building is nothin special – mostly destroyed. But as often, there are a lot of nice little details to have a…. closer look to it…. More stuff like that here.

Paper Factory – Black Forrest – B/W1

Another treasure we’vew found on our abandoned places tour ’15: An abandoned paper factory deep in the black forrest. It has been shut down a long time ago, water comes in but it’s beside the natural dergadation still in a very good condition. I’ve shot a lot of material which I’ll publish step by step by themes. Here now the first B/W set:

ABANDONED places tour ’15 – THE HOTEL

This is the first post of a series about the latest ABANDONED places tour ’15 we did through the easter weekend. The 4-days tour was through the Jura souabe (Schwäbische Alb), Black Forest (Schwarzwald) in the south of germany and the Alsace (Elsass) in the south-east of France. We took photos from during laylight from 7 to 7, so it was again a really hard tour with a few sleep and some small injuries climbing over fences etc… Here now the first series of THE HOTEL:   This is the first B/W series of the kitchen and the sallar: This photos made it on FLICKR into the ‘explore’ and got …

Canker’s Home – “Für den sauberen Tisch” / ” For the clean table”

This is NOT a representative photo of the location…. …but I thought is worth to show. because someone has used the “Für den sauberen Tisch” / ” For the clean table” – buckets as  lids for the toilet drain tubes 🙂 This is a phots of the first s set of phots of the location “Canker’s home”, which is another set from my ABANDONED places tour ’14.

Flame cut mill

This is another hint to a photoseries I have made during my ABANDONED places tour ’14: The ‘russian flame cut mill‘ I’ve found it in a city of east germany. Interestingly the FLICKR-based ‘flickriver’ showen further views if this place. As you can see there, this place is not really interesting from the documentation point of view. Anyway, I have tried to point out some perspectives interessting form me. Judge on your own, what you prefer and let me know.
